You and Whose Army?

September 7, 2006 at 9:10 pm (New, Politics)

Nine weeks til elections…are we safe(r)? How do we tell?

Now Bush and his cronies come out on the offensive, wrongly labeling dissent as “appeasement” and demonizing anyone who don’t agree with their neo-fascist policies.

Secret prisons.
Wiretapping.
Legalizing torture.

Just as the military outlaws the heinous forms of “interrogation” seen in Abu Ghraib, Afghanistan, and Guantanamo Bay, Bush comes out in defense of such tactics.

Do these make us safer? No. Undermining democracy as we supposedly spread it is hardly helping our image around the world. Its not working. Its not working. And we’ve seen that without the Brits, thousand more may have died in August, because their governmental agencies work together, instead of compete. Because their governmental agencies aren’t headed by two-bit idiot horse-breeders and resume padders. Because their policy focuses on intelligence and enforcement rather than diversionary wars with random countries because of non-existent weapons. Where’s Osama. Where is Osama.
